Video: Jessie Ware/ BenZel – “If You Love Me”

Prologue: Two Japanese teens meet on an online ankle sock message board, discover they share interests beyond ankle socks (90’s R&B/J Dilla) and decide to form BenZel.

Current: Now, somewhere along the line, they discover they’re really good at this music thing, and then, others realize as well.  It leads to them teaming with (my wife) Jessie Ware for an stirring re-interpretation of 90’s R&B trio Brownstone‘s – “If You Love Me.”

Add to this already lovely trio, the talents of London based designer Kate Moross, who delivers a stunning swirling paint vision of a tenuous love affair, and you have my favourite surprise of November 2012.

Could any of this be any more perfect?
