News: Daft Punk To Release New Album In May After Signing With Columbia

Daft Punk are apparently readying their first new album in 8 years, after announcing a deal with Sony/Columbia.

The Punk haven’t played live since UK’s 2007 Wireless Festival. They were rumored to be Coachella headliners, but instead we got The Stone Roses. Panda Bear, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder, Paul Williams, and Feist collaborator Chilly Gonzalez are all reportedly working on the album, tentatively slated for May this year.

The duo worked on the Tron: Legacy soundtrack in 2010, but haven’t released an album since 2005’s Human After All.

One. More. Time.
